- The opportunity to be part of a consortium, or Industry-Led Collaborative (ILC), application for the Going Pro! Talent Fund, which makes awards to employers to assist in training, development, and retaining current and newly hired employees and apprentices.
- Access to MAGMA-approved short courses, MAGMA members can reskill incumbent workers for the jobs their respective companies need to fill. Additionally, through collective voice, MAGMA can inform the training opportunities that their employees most need.
- MAGMA members receive real-time market data and intelligence through the Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) research team. This research can be customized to talent and careers in mobility.
- MAGMA members receive no-cost and discounted rates for admission to quarterly MAGMA Advisory Council meetings, which feature presentations from industry leaders and experts on relevant technical and talent-related topics and provide networking opportunities.
In 2022, the State of Michigan awarded a $5 million grant to form the EV Jobs Academy employer-led collaborative with the MAGMA Governing Board unanimously approving to serve as the lead facilitator. The State of Michigan approved another $7 million in training reimbursement funds for the delivery of recognized curriculum.
