Dr. Mehrdad Zadeh is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an experienced academic leader with over 16 years of experience building industry-connected engineering programs. His work focuses on advanced mobility systems, cyber-physical systems, and AI-enabled technologies, with a strong emphasis on aligning technical education with evolving industry skill needs.
Throughout his career, he has led collaborative initiatives connecting education providers and industry partners to accelerate workforce preparation, support incumbent worker upskilling, and strengthen talent pipelines in emerging technologies. His approach emphasizes structured governance, measurable outcomes, and translating strategic priorities into practical, scalable training solutions.
